The Shape of Water

In 1963, in America, marked by the Cold War, the lonely Elisa works in a secret security lab in high security, lonely from birth and trapped in an existence of silence and isolation. But his life changes inevitably when collaborating with Zelda discovers an experiment classified as secret.

Directed by Guillermo del Toro and written by Vanessa Taylor, The Shape of Water tells how in the 1960s, in the background of the Cold War, the struggle for conquest for space and the assertion of civil rights movements, change forever the life of the lonely and mute Elisa worker. A housekeeper in a secretly secured top security lab, Elisa works in isolation when with colleague Zelda she comes across a top secret experiment involving a mysterious creature coming from the waters of South America.
