Following the loss of her parents, Cameron Post is overwhelmed with a mixture of guilt and relief: with death, her parents will never know that she is a homosexual. Years later, the sixteen year old Cameron lives with the evangelical aunt while secretly flirting with the queen of the ball. When her nature emerges, she is sent to a treatment center for her sexual “perversions”. In this surreal environment, she finds the friendship of Jane and Adam, two “sinners” who introduce her to the pleasures of normal teenage life. Realizing how dangerous the brainwashing can be carried out in the center, the three will understand that the best lifeline for them is escape.
