Directed by Bill Condon and screened by Stephen Chbosky and Evan Spiliotopoulos, La Bella and the Beast trace the adventures of Belle, a wise and pretty girl who lives with eccentric father Maurice a contemplative life, disturbed only by the insistent court of a young man Gascone named Gaston. When Maurice ends inadvertently in the castle of what everyone calls the “Beast”, Belle offers her freedom in exchange for her father’s life. From that moment on, despite the initial fear, Belle begins to live in the Beast Castle and makes friends with his “magic” servants. With the passing of time, he will find out how great the heart is, the Beast hiding behind that horrible facade, the result of a wickedness.
